"Loison is an experience: it's the great quality of the product and ingredients and the incredible design work in a presentation."

In Coral Gables, Miami’s upscale neighborhood, you can find a little corner of Italy, namely Bottega la Dolce Vita.

Founded in 2011 by Joan Bavaresco and Franco di Blasi the “Bottega” imports and sells the best Italian food and wine products. It a very small environment, just a few square meters, but the two have been able to transform it into a unique space thanks to their jovial and engaging style: at the “Dolce Vita” customers do not only enter to buy products but also to converse with the owners, taste gastronomic goodness and immerse themselves in Italian style and culture.

Among the Made in Italy delicacies in the Bottega, the artisanal delights of Loison Pasticceri cannot be missed. Since the year of their opening, Joan and Franco have been offering Loison’s homemade leavened goods, giving rise to a collaboration that has turned into a true friendship over the years. Therefore, after we visited Joan and Franco in Miami in 2017, we were happy to welcome them this April 29 to our headquarters in Costabissara.

And with the occasion, we shot this short interview where the two tell us about their business and the success of Loison cakes in Florida.
